Because Hunter was pardoned he cannot Plead The 5th if forced to testify against his dad or other business associates. Also if he lies and it is proven he lied, then that would be obstruction of justice and he could be convicted on that, which would fall outside of his pardon immunity since that would be a NEW CHARGE and not something covered in the period from 2014-2024.

This guy makes an excellent point and it happens all the time in the criminal justice system where prosecutors give blanket immunity (sometimes against the persons will) in order to force them to testify (again against the persons will) That is because the 5th Amendment right to not self incriminate would not apply if the person has been given immunity.
