Speaking Against Water Fluoridation in Tavares, FL

After a federal court ruled fluoride to be a neurotoxin and our FL Surgeon General advised all FL communities to end water fluoridation, numerous cities and counties quickly began exploring the issue and removing fluoride.

Tavares was the next city to discuss continuing water fluoridation so I spoke with one other person in opposition while three dentists spoke in favor.

The board was split with many of them unsure on the matter, asking for more time to research. The mayor spoke in full favor of removing fluoride:

The board will vote on continuing water fluoridation on Dec 18th, 2024.
