cold front is moving through the area this morning. This will reignite showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon, but by the time that happens, showers and thunderstorm development will be over out southern viewing area. Most of Northeast Wisconsin will be dry. Also if you are not a fan of this hot and humid weather, well relief is in sight. The cold front will move the hot air and humid air to the south for the next few days. Dew points will be in the 60s and 70s to start off the day but they will drop into the lower 50s by the evening. Temperatures will be warm though, topping off once again in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Winds will begin initially out of the southwest but then change out of the northwest once the front passes. With clear skies and calm winds out of the north and northeast, temperatures will drop into the lower 60s and upper 50s. Friday will be the best day of the next 7 to open up the windows and get some fresh air. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees. The northeast wind will keep the lakeside areas coolest.
