(This is an excellent brief summary by Professor Jeffrey Sachs about what led up to Russia entering Ukraine with their Special Military Operation (SMO) in February 2022. Most of the media, politicians, & government officials in the US try to blame Russia as though Russia is the only aggressor. As Jeffrey Sachs points out, it really is the US & NATO, which is controlled by the US, breaking multiple agreements going back decades that led to Russia finally realizing that the SMO was the only way to get the attention of the US and finally resolve the fundamental issues. Unfortunately, the US & West still doesn't want to own up to their aggression against Russia that goes back many years and is responsible for the current mess in Ukraine. — RAD)
