Fallen Tarpon Springs officer born on the Fourth of July honored by family, friends

Tarpon Springs Police Officer Charlie Kondek, killed in 2014 while investigating a noise complaint, was born on the Fourth of July. To honor his memory, his wife Teresa, the police force and One Blood teamed together to host an Independence Day blood drive in his name.
