Starting from the bottom is difficult but doable. I'm living proof. I have not fulfilled my dream yet but I know with dedication, hard work, and consistency, I will make it.
I'm not wishing to get rich, I'm wishing to make enough money to take care of myself better than I do now.
I struggle everyday just to get the things I need but I know one day, I'll be able to replace a lot of things I lost during my divorce. Some things are not replaceable like my great-grandfathers table that he made when I was a baby crawling around and many things my mom gave me throughout the years as well as the things my sons made for me when they were younger.
After I filed for a divorce from my cheating ex-husband, I guess it made him very mad. I attempted several times to get my things but he always came up with excuses for me to not get my stuff. He finally took out a loan against the nice 2 story home we moved in together and caused it to go under foreclosure. I found out that something was up when a friend told me that my stuff was being taken out of the house and was all over the ground. So I decided to drive by and she was right. I got out crying while people were picking through my life long belongings including my sons toys and things. Thankfully the people that were there cleaning out my house let me get what I could that was outside the house. I was not able to get any of my furniture or my collectables from inside the house which devastated me. I cried and cried. On top of all that, it started to rain. My mom and dad helped me until late that night to gather what I could. The only things I got was mostly Christmas decorations and a few of my sons things. I lost so much when I decided to divorce my ex-husband including our sons that refuse to speak to me. I don't understand why someone could be as heartless as my ex-husband to do such a horrible thing when all I ever did was be there for him and our sons. He never had to do anything around the house. He didn't even have to change our sons diapers or give them baths or even feed them. I did it all. I even cooked his dinner when he got home late. I even washed and ironed his clothes everyday. But he had to take everything I had accumulated including the things I had before him.
I was leaving him the house. I told my lawyer all I wanted was my stuff out of the house. I was trying to make it easy on him and our sons that asked to stay with their dad. Maybe one day our sons will know the truth and I'll get to see them again but until then, I'm going to do what I can to make it in this world.
