JUST IN: Donald Trump has nominated crypto enthusiast Paul Atkins to SEC Chair, replacing Gary Gensler.

The pro-crypto nomination was a campaign promise made by Trump where he vowed to get rid of Gary Gensler.

"Paul is a proven leader for common sense regulations. He believes in the promise of robust, innovative capital markets that are responsive to the needs of Investors, & that provide capital to make our Economy the best in the World," Trump said.
