How To Train Your Dragon | New Trailer

DreamWorks' upcoming live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon has understandably replaced the actor playing the movie's main character, but Hiccup's original actor must still feature in the 2025 effort. Hiccup has been voiced so far by the same person since the first movie was released in 2010. Since then, he has gone on to reprise the role in every How to Train Your Dragon movie and TV show. While he hasn't been confirmed to be part of the live-action How to Train Your Dragon cast yet, it would be surprising if he didn't appear in some capacity.

The live-action How to Train Your Dragon's release date is set for June 13, 2025. So, there isn't long left to wait until the remake hits cinemas. The first trailer suggests the movie will be a shot-for-shot remake of the original, with even Toothless' iconic character design remaining intact. Mason Thames is stepping in to inherit the role of Hiccup, but he has some pretty big shoes to fill.
