Lake County left without a Prosecutor

Lake County is without a Prosecutor as current Prosecutor Craig Cooper handed in his resignation Monday, effective the same day. Cooper resigned with one-month left in his term, which now leaves a gap before newly elected prosecutor Greg Mick takes office January 1. The Sheriff says there has been talk of prosecutors from neighboring counties helping out. Cooper has served as the prosecuting attorney for Lake County for twelve years.
