YouTube's New Play Button?

This is the most expensive gift, YouTube ever gave me.

So over the last year, YouTube's given me a lot of free stuff. It started with the play button. Then I got random stuff like blankets and hats. Then I got VIP invites to some ultra exclusive events. But now, they've outdone themselves.

You won't believe how much this costs.

Just to compare, in this box is everything Instagram and TikTok gave me. Look, platforms don't have to give creators anything, or even pay them. But I bet 10 years from now, the platform that wins the war, isn't the one that milks users for every last dollar. It's the one that gives users a limited edition, customised, bear speaker.
