Why do supranational institutions, and the establishment in general, so much fear the independent candidate Călin Georgescu who won the first round of the Romanian Presidential election?

Călin Georgescu is a former executive director of the United Nations Global Sustainable Index Institute in Geneva, and a former Senior Fellow with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He was also the President of the European Research Centre for the Club of Rome (2013–2015).
