Cyclone Fengal | Twin Landslides Threatened Tiruvannamalai Killing At Least 7 & Burying Many | N18G

Seven people have been confirmed dead in a devastating landslide caused by Cyclone Fengal in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. As flooding continues across Cuddalore, Villupuram, and other affected districts, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has requested ₹2000 crore in interim relief and a central team to assess the damage. Thousands of homes have been destroyed, with over 69 lakh families affected. The cyclone has also caused massive agricultural losses and severe infrastructure damage, including roads, electricity, and water schemes.
