After being injured by the RDA while helping Sarentu escape the TAP facility, So'lek lies in critical condition. Despite the danger, he takes this moment to teach the Sarentu about the Na'vi ways, instructing her to find a healing fruit to tend to his wounds. The Sarentu, still learning the ways of her people after years of captivity, follows So'lek’s guidance and finds the glowing fruit. When she returns and administers the fruit’s healing properties, So'lek begins to recover enough to make it to the Resistance HQ, but the RDA is closing in quickly. Knowing she cannot stay to help him further, So'lek urges the Sarentu to leave, passing along crucial information about the location of the Resistance HQ and the importance of carrying the message to them. He explains that she needs to continue her journey, learn, and grow, as the future of Pandora depends on it. The Sarentu reluctantly agrees, setting off into the jungle alone to warn the Resistance, while So'lek makes his way toward their allies.
