Why are CEOs Quitting at Record Pace? | Vantage with Palki Sharma

The world is witnessing an exodus of chief executives, the world over. According to reports, there is a 50% increase in CEO exits as compared to last year. More than 1,800 CEOs have quit, including, the CEO of Intel. Pat Gelsinger has resigned after the chip maker posted record losses, suffered layoffs and cost cuts, after missing the AI wave. Several other companies like Starbucks, Nike, Boeing, and Woolworths are in the same boat. So why are CEOs leaving in record numbers? How important is a CEO for a company? Are they accountable and responsible for the successes and losses of a company
