This anti-war anthem came out in 1969 at the height of resistance to the Vietnam War and the civilian draft. Writer and singer John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival not only criticized the draft, but also the general inequality of society at the time.
Similar questions about the fairness of our justice system are being asked today in the wake of Joe Biden's pardon of his son Hunter yesterday.
