Parents are supposed to protect and nurture their children. But what happens when they fall short of these basic responsibilities? Let’s look at four alarming examples of parents who were arrested for putting their children in danger.

🔍 Episode Overview:
On March 16th, 2024, the Volusia County Sheriff's Department was alerted to an intoxicated couple asleep on Daytona Beach. Deputies quickly arrived to assess the situation.

On February 7th, 2023, Santa Rosa County Sheriff's deputies caught a vehicle going 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. They quickly pursued and stopped the vehicle as it tried to flee the scene. Deputies later identified the driver as Amber Leigh Rowland, a former prosecutor for the First Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office. They successfully persuaded her to cooperate.

On October 26th, 2023, Oklahoma police pulled over an SUV for speeding, clocking it at 75 mph in a 60 zone. What started as a routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a runaway chase, complete with parental drama.

On October 22nd, 2023, a Florida woman was taken into custody for leaving her two young children in an unlocked, running car while she was in a bar. The children, aged two years old and eight months old, were both discovered asleep in the vehicle by West Melbourne police.
