Recently I have been reading a bit about Dead Internet Theory, and frankly, have found some of what I have read rather disturbing. The prevalence of bots/A.I./language models masquerading as human beings on social media, and how bot swarms have essentially been weaponised against civilian populations, was one thing that struck me as highly problematic, and I found the implications rather disturbing.
