Sudan: Al-Burhan's Army Says Hemedti's RSF Launched UAE-made Drones From Chad | Firstpost Africa

While Sudan continues to reel under a devastating civil war, its army, headed by de-facto leader General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has claimed that the Hemedti-led paramilitary RSF launched UAE-made drones from Chad to target its forces. These fresh claims by the Sudanese army raise concerns over the role of foreign players in the Sudan civil war. The United Nations has repeatedly accused foreign players of prolonging the civil war in Sudan, which has been raging since April 2023. Several countries have been backing the warring Sudanese warring parties with arms and ammunition, which are reportedly being trafficked into Sudan via Chad, Libya, Central African Republic, South Sudan and Uganda.
