Hezbollah Bombs IDF Over 'Ceasefire Violation', Russia-Iran Vow Syria Defence, Turkey Blames Assad

Hezbollah on Dec. 2 claimed its first attack on an Israeli position since a fragile ceasefire in the war in Lebanon took effect last week. Hezbollah said its strike in the Kfar Shouba disputed territory on the Lebanon-Israel border, was an "initial defensive and warning response." It cited "repeated ceasefire violations" by Israeli, "including firing on civilians and airstrikes in various parts of Lebanon." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz vowed a “harsh response” to Hezbollah.
