Rule of Law | Inside the Faith Loop

We hear this refrain, “rule of law” more and more frequently in our society, especially from the Christian community. We talk of justice and how the rule of law is the arbiter, and that the law comes from God. Which God? Who’s law? We can see from this statement by Paul in his letter to believers in Galatia that the law (instruction) is not the promise, and therefore is not the giver of life. In the end right or justice is not defined by the rule of law.
