Christian PROVES God is TRINITY In The BIBLE | Sam Shamoun

The Plurality of God: From the very beginning, Genesis 1:26 introduces us to God in plural form: "Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.'" - Context: God's use of the plural pronouns "us" and "our" suggests a plurality within the unity of God.

The Spirit as God: The Holy Spirit is often mentioned in ways that attribute divine actions and characteristics to Him. Isaiah 48:16 says, "Come near me and listen to this: 'From the first announcement I have not spoken in secret; at the time it happens, I am there.' And now the Sovereign Lord has sent me, endowed with his Spirit." - Context: Here, the speaker is distinct from the Sovereign Lord and the Spirit, yet they are all involved in divine activities.

The Angel of the Lord: This figure, often referred to as Malach Yehovah, is not merely an angel but is identified with God Himself. For instance, in Judges 13:21-22, Manoah realizes he has seen God after an encounter with the Angel of the Lord: "When the angel of the Lord did not show himself again to Manoah and his wife, Manoah realized that it was the angel of the Lord. 'We are doomed to die!' he said to his wife. 'We have seen God!'" - Context: The interaction with the Angel of the Lord is treated with divine reverence, indicating this messenger is indeed God.

The Word of God: The concept of the Word (Dabar Yehovah) as a divine figure is vividly captured in John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." - Context: This passage equates the Word with God, establishing Jesus Christ as divine from before creation.

When these elements are pieced together, the Bible unequivocally supports the doctrine of the Trinity:

God the Father (Yahweh) sends and interacts with His messengers in the Old Testament.

God the Son (Malach Yehovah, the Word) is sent by God and is worshipped as God, performing divine acts.

God the Holy Spirit acts divinely, is sent by God, and is explicitly called God.

These distinctions and interactions within the Godhead show that God is indeed multi-personal, yet one in essence. This isn't a contradiction but a reflection of the complex, relational nature of the divine. The Trinity, therefore, isn't just a doctrine but a revelation of God's nature that invites us into a relationship with each Person of the Godhead, each playing a unique role in our salvation and sanctification.
