A new academic year has begun in the associations, formations and military units of the Southern Military District (SE). On the eve of the beginning of the winter school period, inspections of the educational and material base and comprehensive safety classes were held in all units.

During the preparatory period, training sites at combined-arms training grounds and training centers of the Southern Military District were updated, new facilities for training military personnel were prepared, taking into account the experience gained during the special military operation (SVO).

In the new academic year, a large range of combat training activities has been planned, where the main efforts will be focused on building up the combat power of the troops, taking into account modern trends, including using the experience of the military. At the same time, the focus of training is determined based on the specifics of the combat mission of each unit and military unit.

The main emphasis during the winter training period will be on the practical development of existing and the search for new ways of conducting combat operations in modern conditions, taking into account the adoption and supply of new types of weapons, military and special equipment to the troops.

Currently, the military personnel of the Southern Military District honorably perform combat missions in the special operation zone, showing examples of courage, bravery and heroism.
