These Creatures Can Do What?-A Quiet Place The Road Ahead Ep 8

After spending the night at a waterfall so the creatures couldn't hear me and so I can rage and make all the noise I wanted, I start to press on. I need to find the harbor to hopefully meet up with the National Guard so I can find safety once more. End up finding a ruined railway station, with rail cars flipped all over the place. Also, these creatures have a new thing they can do that I wasn't aware of. Is it even canon?
