Michael almost flooded North Carolina's MOST DANGEROUS NEIGHBORHOOD - Simon Brights Apartments
---
I rode my bicycle down to Simon Brights Apartments (public housing) in 2016, immediately after Hurricane Michael devastated eastern North Carolina and, subsequently, the East Kinston hood.
Hood residents without power in their public housing apartments, no air conditioning, hence they are all outside.
The hateful politicians in Raleigh released the dam, and the flood waters of the Neuse river almost flooded Simon Brights.

East Kinston hood. Called the most dangerous neighborhoods in the entire state of North Carolina.

Abandoned 2 story houses.
Abandoned houses, windows boarded up or busted out - one a large, two-story mansion, which I fondly call "The Freddy Krueger Mansion" because it looks like Freddie's old house on "A Nightmare on Elm Street".
An abandoned car wash, abandoned church, and abandoned and dilapidated laundromat... An abandoned supermarket.

I myself tagged GRAFFITI on the walls on the dilapidated laundromat.
Wannabe gangs. Public housing. Home of the infamous Simon Brights housing projects.
Shootings, whores, and drug deals.

White guy on a bicycle (ME, Wild Man Chris), riding through this ghetto since 2004.
Videotaping the hood since 2009.
