Welcome Home

PVT Homer J. Mitchell (U.S. Army) was missing in action from World War II December 10, 1944 the Pachten Forest near Wiltz, Luxembourg. In August 2021 his remains were disinterred and sent to the DPAA laboratory for identification. PVT Mitchell returned home to his family on 23 February 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was later laid to rest with his mother in New Mexico. This video is a short tribute to his honor.
