Commuters On Bus Lead Silent Dispute Over Window

Taking the daily commute is not a walk in the park. You have so many different people inside, young and old, manual laborers and office workers, and they all carry something with them. No, we are not talking about body odor, that’s subject for another article. What we are talking about are their needs and wants. They all need to be somewhere and they want to get there faster. They push and shove, as if they forget that the vehicle that is transporting them takes everybody as fast as it can. Of course, people get nervous and they tend to take it out on innocent bystanders, or even worse, on inanimate objects.

Then, we have those who like to think they own the place and they behave like that too. Two such people got into a silent, passive-aggressive argument over whether or not the window in the bus should stay open.

Footage from a Russian bus shows two commuters having a dispute over whether a window would remain open or closed. Despite going at it for several minutes, neither passenger attempts to simply talk to the other one and find a compromise.

The silly dispute here is just priceless. What could have been solved in a matter of seconds turns into a passive-aggressive mute war of epic proportions. In the clip, shot on May 25, 2018, shows the older woman, sitting in the front seat, closing the window on the packed bus for undisclosed reasons. For the sake of the story, let’s assume she doesn’t like the air gushing through the slit to mess up her hair. The guy sitting right behind her, wearing a baseball cap, wants the window to stay open. Might be the packed bus or the presence of the cap that makes him feel slightly uneasy in the warm day in Nizhny Novgorod, but he wants air to keep coming inside the cabin. Cue the battle.

Closed. Open. Closed. Open. Closed. Open. Closed. Open. Closed! Open!

Good thing these Russian buses were made to last, because if it were the product of any other nation, it might have fallen apart or crumbled after so much misuse.

After some while, the dude decides he has had it with this old woman and her hand resting on the glass to keep it closed. He pushes it one more time and does something we thought only kids are capable of doing - he puts his hand on the rail so that she may not close the window fully. Take that, gospozha!

YouTubers had the most fun watching these two squabble like children in kindergarten. Some said they were probably fighting the revolutionary war in their heads, while some suggested they should just marry already, since they make sure a cute couple.

What we find absolutely heartbreaking is the fact that we will find out whether or not they found the solution to their mutual problem. The clip cuts off at 4 minutes and 7 seconds, right in the middle of a turn! Who does that? How will we sleep tonight if we do not know the solution?
