BENTO GONÇALVES - RIO GRANDE DO SUL!

In this video, we visit another city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul called Bento Gonçalves. This city is well known for having received many Italian immigrants at the end of the 19th century and it is also famous for being a hub for the production of wine and cheese among other products. We begin our day with visiting a winery called Miolo. This tour was a very extensive and informative tour and we learned so much about everything related to wine production: different types of grapes, various steps and techniques used to produce different types of wine and at the end of the tour there was some wine tasting where we learned how to assess the quality of a wine based on the smell, clarity, taste, and colour. After this tour we visited one of the most famous tourist attractions of Bento Gonçalves called Caminhos de Pedra which is a long stretch of a road where you will find lots of houses built of stones. This is where the Italian immigrant who originally came to Bento Gonçalves had built their houses and along this route we visited a couple of houses and shops. We hope you enjoy the video :)
