Episode 2 [Welcome to the Resistance]
Emerging from the shadows of the TAP facility, Sarentu steps into the vibrant heart of Pandora, where the air is rich with the sweet scent of blooming flora and the forest pulses with life. The colors of the lush jungle burst in every direction… iridescent flowers, towering trees, and glowing vines weaving through the canopy. Every breath is filled with the essence of Pandora, fresh and full of promise. Yet, despite the beauty surrounding them, an uneasy silence lingers in the Sarentu’s mind, as the radio remains eerily still, the connection to So'lek severed.
With only the soft rush of the stream to guide them, the Sarentu follows its winding path, hoping it will lead to the others. As the Sarentu moves deeper into the wild, the signs of RDA presence begin to creep in… subtle, but unmistakable: broken branches, disturbed earth, and faint traces of human-made technology. Drawn by a mix of curiosity and caution, the Sarentu presses on, uncovering a hidden RDA fueling station to the northeast of Dyer's Bowl.
What secrets does this outpost hold, and how deeply has the RDA's grip taken root in the vibrant paradise of Pandora?
After being injured by the RDA while helping Sarentu escape the TAP facility, So'lek lies in critical condition. Despite the danger, he takes this moment to teach the Sarentu about the Na'vi ways, instructing her to find a healing fruit to tend to his wounds. The Sarentu, still learning the ways of her people after years of captivity, follows So'lek’s guidance and finds the glowing fruit. When she returns and administers the fruit’s healing properties, So'lek begins to recover enough to make it to the Resistance HQ, but the RDA is closing in quickly.
Knowing she cannot stay to help him further, So'lek urges the Sarentu to leave, passing along crucial information about the location of the Resistance HQ and the importance of carrying the message to them. He explains that she needs to continue her journey, learn, and grow, as the future of Pandora depends on it. The Sarentu reluctantly agrees, setting off into the jungle alone to warn the Resistance, while So'lek makes his way toward their allies. The weight of the moment solidifies the Sarentu's resolve, and she embarks on her path as a Na'vi, ready to embrace the fight for Pandora’s survival.
