Boots Ennis vs Vergil Ortiz FIGHT Negotiations EXPOSED! Special Guest Steve Kim

On November 27th the day before Thanksgiving, I did a show entitled, " Will Boots Ennis and Vergil Ortiz Fight Finally Happen?" In my opening monologue, I stated that this was a rumor.

We saw reports on Boxing News 24 saying Vergil Ortiz and Jaron Boots Ennis have agreed to fight each other verbally. Come to find out that was a lie. Boots released a message via X stating.

Boots: I've seen rumors on social media that Vergil and I were in negotiations to fight each other. I was unaware of those negotiations being made on my end. From here on out, if it don't come from me and me only, don't believe it.

I will address if I'm staying at 147 or moving up to 154 at a later date. End Quote.

The problem with this message is this. Eddie Hearn said to Jaron Boots Ennis's face that he would talk to Oscar about making the Vergil Ortiz fight at 154.

He also said that if Boots were to lose against Vergil, he would never speak to him again. Why? Because Eddie doesn't want to lose to Oscar Dela Hoya. He said this at the Boots vs Karen press conference.

After the Karen fight, Chris Mannix asked Boots if he could challenge anybody at 154 who would it be? Boots said, anybody. I'm willing to fight anybody at 154.

How can Boots say in one breath he wasn't aware of ongoing negotiations between himself and Vergil Ortiz. When his promoter Eddie Hearn told Boots at the post-fight press conference that he was trying to make that fight?
