Finding A Beautiful Lionfish While Snorkeling
There’s something magical about exploring the underwater world, and my recent snorkeling trip at Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental didn’t disappoint. As I floated above the healing coral reef, something caught my eye—a lionfish, gracefully weaving through the water.

Its elegant fins spread like a feathery crown, and its striped body seemed almost unreal, as if painted by an artist. I watched in awe as it moved slowly, commanding attention like royalty. Though I knew to keep my distance—lionfish may be stunning, but their spines are venomous—just observing it felt like a rare privilege.

Moments like these remind me why I love the ocean so much. Every dive, every snorkel is a chance to connect with the beauty of nature and its incredible diversity. I came back to the surface with a full heart and an even deeper appreciation for the marine world.
