Another painful visit with the oncologist

Healing cancer is complex and confusing enough without obfuscation from the medical experts in charge of your healthcare. When you are stage four with liver mets, bone mets and lung mets its an absolute minefield. I say health “care” very loosely as there is very little care and very little hope.

Sometimes you are confused, fearful, overwhelmed, but when you do your own research and learn the language it becomes easier to navigate.

It also makes it easy to notice when you are not being given the full picture.
