Episode 460: Here is the reason why people do not respond to the gospel Part 1

Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we continue to look at the sinner's inability to come to the Holy God of all creation.

For some reason, even amongst Christians, there is this misconception regarding what salvation truly is. It is not a prayer, a confession, repentance, nor a change in behavior.

None of those things have anything whatsoever with SALVATION. Are they necessary? Yes, however not in the sense most people believe. They are by-products of salvation.

Okay Kevin, then what is salvation? Salvation is LIFE. Salvation is the DEAD receiving LIFE. Everything else that follows are the by-products or the results of being made alive. Believing, repenting, confessing, and lifestyle modifications are the effects, while receiving LIFE is the cause.
