Restoring a 200 Year Old Farmhouse: Tearing Down the Summer House

This week the gang was all here. We had friends, family and neighbors that all showed up to help. This job was a major milestone for us. We were finally able to remove a huge eyesore on the property. Taking down the summer house was a big step in improving both the appearance and the view of the property. It was both a joy and very bittersweet. The summer house was our favorite building and also home to a lot of memories for Gammy. She remembered cooking meals in there as a child but also knew that it was beyond saving.
