HAVE GRATITUDE IN EVERY SITUATION

18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR ONES!!! Can you believe that it's the end of November already? Boy time really does fly! Just this month, we've had an election, in which “convicted felon” won by a landslide, and the way it looks right now, all these phony convictions and cases against him are now going to be thrown out. But most of all, we've seen what is very true in that God is the one in control. We also celebrated Thanksgiving, and I hope that all of you were grateful to be with family and friends. But most of all, I pray that you do see God's sovereignty within our nation, and that no matter what, God is the one that's still on the throne.

I couldn't help but marvel at the attitude of Daniel in Daniel 6, in particular right after king Darius signed that decree. To see somebody respond by not just simply praying as he always does, but to give thanks to God as he normally does, it really struck me, and got me to thinking about how vital it is for me to be thanking God. How important it is for me to be thanking God for every situation that I'm in. Not putting on a fake 😊 when I'm being put through something awful, but to genuinely thank God in the midst of that situation. That's what Daniel did, when faced with a death sentence, and I pray to have that type of courage and gratitude myself.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of this morning scripture, as well as this verse above, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you helps you to see how to be grateful, not just for everything, but in every situation that you're in. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they not only get you to thinking about what it means to have a grateful response and every and any situation, but how to do so.

Why is it vital to regularly thank God?

How can you grow a more grateful heart?

I pray that God helps you to see that the reason it's so important to regularly thank him, is not because you have to, but because you want to. To ask God to help you remember just WHO it is that makes everything you have possible, and help show you how to have gratitude for what He's given you. I pray that you are willing to do what the apostle Paul stated, and ask God to help you “give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). So that regardless of whether you're facing any storm, valley, or crisis situation, or if you've just come through all of that, that a grateful response honors God, and helps keep your faith afloat.
