Tulsi Gabbard - It’s a good idea for Trump to have communication with dictators around the world?

As our Commander-in-Chief, I would want someone who could establish and maintain good relationships, someone who could pick up the phone and call Putin, Kim Jong Un, or any world leader to advocate for our interests, for the interests of our country, and our security. If you don’t have that open line of communication, it will be very difficult to de-escalate tensions and have clear conversations about what’s at stake and how to resolve those issues."
