Phoenix Police Department - OIS - Woman Waving A Knife - Bodycam

On November 9th, 2024, Phoenix nine-one-one receives a call of a woman walking through an apartment complex waving a knife. F A F Out would like to commend the great amount of restraint and dee-escalation officers extended to the subject. We also commend the use of non-lethal tools, such as the 40mm launcher and Tasers, used by officers to gain compliance from the suspect. How ever, F A F Out believes the use of lethal force by the officer that fired her weapon was not justified for the circumstance of the call. Watch to the end for our read out analysis.
