For anyone who likes or prefers to read I put the transcript below.

This is a little early for me but I would like to wish y’all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Seeing we will be celebrating Jesus birthday the question, what does he want might seem appropriate. This is what comes to mind.

The number one thing Jesus is after in his church in Canada/North America probably around the world is; not, to remove the cares and concerns of this world; not, to remove the stressors that block us from spending time with him; not, to remove the stress that distracts us from hearing his voice when we do spend time seeking him; not, to remove the fears and worries that block his voice from producing fruit in our lives when we actually do hear his voice.

God did not create your stress; but, He is using all those things to show you that He is willing to make the exchange. You give your stressors to him with thanksgiving and in return he gives you his peace. A peace that makes absolutely no sense in your current circumstance but will guard your heart and mind.

What God wants US/YOU/ME to remove is the self-centeredness flesh and pride that is blocking our spiritual ears from hearing his voice and keeps our hearts our inner man distracted away when we do hear his voice.

What God is trying to restore to all of us is a delight in his voice. Once we have this then: we can use the tools he has given us to block our stressors out; then, we can pray from the manifest presence of God; then, watch your circumstances bow to the almighty one who lives within you.

God wants above all to restore to his people a delight in his voice.
God wants to reward his people but for this to happen we have to seek him diligently.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb 11:6

Isa 50:7  For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

Isa 50:7 is a prophecy of Jesus setting his face like flint toward the suffering that he faced at the cross.

The cross that paid the price for our sins so that we could have a direct relationship with the Lord God of the Universe (Speak to and Hear From God directly).

At the least we could set our faces like flint to listen for the voice of God, to Receive what Christ paid for!

Heb 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

A direct relationship with you is the joy that was set before him that is why he went to the cross.

It is your presence with him that causes much rejoicing in heaven.
This is the parable of the lost sheep and the parable of the lost coin.

On the other side of the coin only His presence with you can make your joy complete.
Psa 16:11  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Jesus laid his life down on the cross so that you could be in his presence and He could be in your presence for eternity.

A delight in the Lord’s voice and his presence is the best gift you could give him right now.

You and God together is the fullness of all Joy.
Do you delight in his presence and in his voice???
That is what Jesus wants to restore in his Family in his church
