🪖 @ Work 2017 Building The National Holocaust Monument in Ottawa 🍁 Canada 🏗️🚧

The National Holocaust Monument in Ottawa is a significant memorial dedicated to the six million Jewish men, women, and children murdered during the Holocaust, as well as the millions of other victims of Nazi Germany and its collaborators. Located across from the Canadian War Museum at the northeast corner of Wellington and Booth Streets, it was designed by Daniel Libeskind and inaugurated on September 27, 20172.

The monument features a striking design with concrete walls forming six triangular volumes, creating the points of a Star of David. Inside, visitors can find photographs of Holocaust sites and interpretive exhibits that educate about the Holocaust and its impact.
