How We Preserve Carrots

Today, Marti is in the kitchen preserving carrots for the winter. Carrots we grow we can store whole in a cool part of the pantry. These carrots came from a neighbor who did not grow them. Because we do not know how, where, or when these were grown, we will need to can them to keep them through winter.
