Set in West Berlin during the Cold War, but before the Berlin Wall. MacNamara is a high-ranking executive in the Coca-Cola Company. He is asked to babysit the boss's hot-blooded 17 year old daughter.

Along comes giant monkey wrench--Otto Piffl, a young East German Communist, newly married to the 17 year old.

MacNamara is ringmaster of this political circus.
