Visions of Mana [38] Captain Palamena Explores the World!

Cleaning out the rest of Tatoh ruins gets us some good items. We also let Palamena take the Salamando Candle for a spin, turning her into the Masquer. This ends up being an amazing coincidence for us.

Outside of the ruins, we find Vuscav and climb aboard. He's now our new way of traveling the world map. However, even he is blocked by the wall of water. Fortunately, our big dumb turtle will not take no for an answer. The beautiful princess turns into the same species as Vuscav, and suddenly their romance makes so much more sense.

With the lovers reunited, we get the Vuscav flute to be able to summon Vuscav again. Instead of continuing with the story, we decide that Palamena's outfit makes her look like a pirate captain, and so we sail the high seas, exploring the overworld and even stopping by our hometown. No one there realizes that Hinna is no longer with us.
