An examination by two Western military experts of the debris recovered from Russia's new Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM), showed how it dropped multiple payloads across the target area, a characteristic of ICBMs. The first combat use of such a design — which Russian President Vladimir Putin called unstoppable — has drawn scrutiny from Western military experts.
