The Yahweh judged King David through Nathan the Prophet in II Samuel 12:11, “Behold, I will raise up evil against you from your own house.” In tonight's study, Avshalom represents evil. He stole the hearts of the people away from the king. He proclaimed himself as king of Hebron. David flees from Jerusalem to avoid bloodbath from advancing Avshalom. What lessons can we learn as David accepted the Yahweh's punishment on him through the evil acts of his son Avshalom?
