Can New Orleans Run by the Rams in Crucial Game? Saints vs Rams NFL Week 13

The Saints have been on a rollercoaster ride with their offense this season, but they've shown signs of stabilization, particularly with a healthy Derek Carr at the helm. The emergence of the running game by Taysom hill and Alvin Kamara will be key to scoring points, as well as the big play ability of WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling. However, they'll face a Rams defense that no longer has Aaron Donald but does have a core group of very young and talented defensive lineman to replace him: Kobie Turner, Bryan Young plus rookies Jared Verse and Braden Fiske.
The Rams' offense has been clicking, thanks to Matthew Stafford's arm and Kyren Williams' legs. The Rams have also had WRs Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp return from injury giving their offense all its top playmakers available for the game. The Saints defense steadily declining in their recent 7 game loosing streak has began to turn its play around during the last two games, wins over Atlanta & Cleveland. The defense must eliminate its tendency to give up explosive plays and miss tackles to keep the Rams offense in check.
Injury Reports for both teams look to be relatively good news, although the Saints may not have C Erik McCoy available which would be a major blow to the Saints offense.
Special Shout Out to Nephi Sewell: A special nod to linebacker Nephi Sewell, who has been named the New Orleans Saints' 2024 Ed Block Courage Award winner. Nephi has embodied what it means to overcome and persevere over the last year in his recovery process from a devastating knee injury. Here's to you, Nephi, for showing us all what courage looks like in cleats.
