This is a 2KW vertical wind turbine. Thanks to our aluminium fabrication, the rotor blades are very durable and stable, at the same time very light. The generator body is made of aluminum and equipped with cooling fins. . The maintenance-free sliding contact, which is free from charcoal, ensures a good current flow and prevents cable twisting in the pole.

This turbine has a permanent magnet generator having strong neodymium magnets with steel slots inside. When the wind speed is over 3 m/s, the turbine will be rotating freely by exceeding this holding torque (cogging torque).

This wind turbine produces AC (Alternating Current). Please purchase a TESUP wind turbine Charge Controller to convert the AC to DC (Direct Current) output to charge batteries.

ATLAS2.0 is a high tech low rpm performance wind generator. If a hurricane scale III (50–58 m/s) or above occurs, please cover wind turbine blades. Once the wind turbine blades are covered, they can not catch the wind and this will protect the wind turbine from the hurricane.
