Trying to decode a "water downed" Brotherhood in the IBEW

Have we had it "to good" in the IBEW? It seems like less and less members have the courage to stand up against contractors and sometimes the representation from their union hall because the don't want to cause any problems. Their response? "I'm making the best money I've ever made and I don't want to F*ch that up."
