Both pilots died and several others were hospitalized after a plane crashed onto a roadway in Ecuador's southwestern province of Santa Elena. The Ecuadorian Air Force identified the victims as Captain Diana Ruiz, known as the first woman in Ecuador to fly a supersonic plane, and Cadet Juan Pacheco.
