This is an unusual and rather interesting floor lamp of a kind I have not encountered before. It consists of a 4.5Kg 30 x 30 x 160 cm verticle metal rectangular frame with three E27 fitting bulbs suspended within it.

Everything you need is included in the self-assembly kit except for the bulbs, which you need to provide yourself. Build quality all seems fine as you would expect with metal construction, with nothing looking likely to fail or fall off any time soon.

Assembly is easy enough, I was pleased to see that there are a few spare parts included in case they get lost in the assembly process and that an Allen key is included in the kit with no additional; tools needed.

Simply screw the four sections of each upright together and then attach the completed uprights to the top and bottom square mounts - the top one having the bulb connectors attached. That's it, the whole job should only take around ten minutes after you have identified the various pieces.

Once assembled the lighting unit looks rather striking with a great deal depending on the bulbs used. Low powered, coloured or warm white bulbs for ambience, more powerful ones for illumination. The bulb fitting is Edison screw E27, which are easily available online, with no warning given about maximum size, so I assume any wattage will work.

This is a well made and well designed unit and in the right setting will give a striking look to the room. Priced at £51.88 before discounts, it is not cheap, but the build quality and unusual design may well make it a good buy for you.
