Trump Nominates Dr. Jay Bhattacharya for NIH Director After Exposing Govt’s Misinformation Campaign

Donald Trump has just nominated Dr. Jay Bhattacharya as the next NIH director.

"It's used its power to control the spread of information [on] social media; it's used, effectively, propaganda techniques in order to destroy the reputations and careers of people who spoke up to try to correct these ideas and misinformation."

"The federal government started emphasising the use of cloth masks to stop the spread of a disease. We knew then, and we know now, it was not effective, and that embrace of cloth masks almost certainly led to unnecessary deaths."

Dr. Bhattacharya made these comments in November 2022.
