Zechariah 6&7 - The chariots had horses that are the same four horses that are in Revelation 6:1-8.

Zec 6:2
With the first chariot were red horses, with the second chariot black horses,

Zec 6:3
with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot strong dappled horses.

The chariots had horses that are the same four horses that are in Revelation 6:1-8. It appears that the purpose of the horses in Zechariah is not to identify the order of the spread of the Muslim Empire.

Zec 6:4
Then I spoke and said to the angel who was speaking with me, "What are these, my lord?"

Zec 6:5
And the angel answered and said to me, "These are the four spirits of heaven, going forth after standing before the Lord of all the earth,

These four horses are described as the four spirits (or winds Heb.- ruach). This ties these horses with gog and magog of Ezekiel 38 & 39 and the resurrection of the nation of Israel

Ezek 37:9
Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.”’”

It also ties the four winds or spirits to the four beasts of Daniel 7

Dan 7:2-3
Daniel said, “I was looking in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea. 3“And four great beasts were coming up from the sea, different from one another.
